Typewriter update

Like anyone cares. :-)

Okay after looking at my machines I have some more definitive indentifications.

Granpa’s Royal is c. 1949. It is a Royal KMG (who knows what the initials stand for).

The other Royal, purchased at a Church summage sale is a Royal HH, c. 1955. Mine is a dark gray/brown.

The Smith-Corona is a Silent c. 1953 (precursor to the Silent Super).

    I love typwriters. Not that I have any, I just have fond memories of going to work with my dad and typing away on an old one they had there. Good fun.

    I was researching an old KMG that my brother found. One site listed the “KMM” as the Royal Magic Margin (it was a black colored case) and the “KMG” as the later model Royal Magic Gray (because it was colored gray).
